JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) recorded a slump of 78.44 points to end todays trading. JCI was slipped 2.25% from last week closing of 3,487.61 to 3,409.17.The index moved within the range of 3,383.16 3,487.14.Among 422 shares in the index, 22 shares rose, 219 fell and the remaining 181 were stagnant.Astra International led the downfall with -11.48 points, followed by Bank Rakyat Indonesia with -6.49 points, Bank Central Asia with -5.77 point and Telekomunikasi Indonesia with -4.76 points.Shares that restraining further reduction were Unilever Indonesia with 6.76 points, followed by Bayan Resources with 1.77 points, XL Axiata with 1.01 points and Berau Coal Energy with 0.41 point.All nine sectoral indexes gave negative appreciation to the IDX which motored by finance with 30.37%, followed by mining with 21.22%, miscellaneous industry with 15.82% and basic industry and chemical with 7.38%.In line with IDX, BISNIS-27 also decreased 8.96 points or 2.98% to 292.05. it moved between 289.76 300.94.
