JAKARTA: Spending IDR1 trillion investment, PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk (LPKR) engaging Marriot International Inc, plan to establish two JW Marriot Hotels located in The St. Moritz, West Jakarta and Kemang Village, South Jakarta. The both will be the first five-star hotels located beyond Jakartas gold triangle zone and is expected to complete in 2013-2015, said Chief Executive Officer of St. Moritz and Shopping Malls Group Michael Riady.We are very enthusiastic for the construction of both hotels that will be additional value for stakeholder in each region, Michael affirmed amidst contract signing in Jakarta.In addition, the hotel in St. Moritz will be equipped with 208 rooms, while another hotel in Kemang Village will have capacity of 275 rooms.Later, the hotel located in West Jakarta will ease access to airport or industrial area in Tangerang.Then, by having the both hotels, the image of Puri Indah can be placed on the same level with other elite areas in Jakarta as well as the companys vision can be realized to create international standard in both areas.Hotels will provide additional value for employees of oil and gas as well as mining companies including expatriates living in TB Simatupang area, South Jakarta. Meanwhile, office area in the area keeps growing, Director of Kemang Village Jopy Rusli confirmed.In the meantime, the both are expected to be a luxury benchmark for Jakarta which has been proven internationally and domestically as well as to stimulate growing tourism sector in Jakarta.Today, we have nine properties in Indonesia, including Bali and Surabaya.
