JAKARTA: Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) rose 1.6% or 54.40 points to 3,400.46 in line with the increase at regional market and in share price of PT Astra International Tbk.Among 423 shares listed in the Jakarta Composite Index, 136 shares rose, 48 fell and 237 were unchanged. Shares that increased were PT Astra International Tbk (ASII) by IDR1,950 to IDR48,750, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) by IDR175 to IDR5,050, and PT United Tractor Tbk (UNTR) by IDR1,250 to IDR21,450.Next, PT Perusahaan gas Negara Tbk (PGAS) increased by 150 to IDR4,050 and PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) increased by IDR100 to IDR5,500.Meanwhile, PT Gudang Garam Tbk (GGRM) also increased by IDR1,100 to IDR36,600, PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) by IDR100 to IDR3,350, PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) by IDR550 to IDR17,950, PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI) by IDR1,050 to IDR22,30 and PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) by IDR50 to IDR2,400.The declining shares were PT Bank Danamon Tbk (BDMN) which IDR50 to IDR5,800, PT Berau Resources Tbk (BRAU) by minus IDR10 to IDR520, and PT Tambang Batu Bara Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) by minus IDR50 to IDR19,650.The regional shares increased in line with the increase in Dow Jones Industrial Average to the highest since June 2008 following the acquisition plan, share buyback and dividend distribution of several listed companie.
