BCA leads JCI drop by 0.17%

JAKARTA: Indonesian stocks were closed down 6.10 points or 0.17% to 3,481.61 from yesterdays closing at 3,487.17.Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) moved within the range of 3,471.68 3,500.46. Among 421 stocks supporting the index, 57 stocks rose, 112 fell and 252 were unchanged.PT Bank Central Asia led the indexs drop with minus 2.92 points, followed by PT Perusahaan Gas Negara -1.45 points, PT Unilever Indonesia -1.37 points and PT Astra International -0.97 point.Stocks restraining the indexs drop were PT Bank Mandiri with positive contribution of 1.25 points, followed by PT XL Axiata 1.02 points, PT Bayan Resources 0.60 point and PT International Nickel Indonesia 0.60 point.Seven of nine sectors listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) gave negative contributions, led by miscellaneous industry with -33.54%, basic industry and chemical with -16.79%, construction, property and real estate with -16.18%, trade and service with -16.01%, consumer goods -12.32%, infrastructure, utility and transportation with -10.06% and agriculture with -5.57%.BISNIS-27 Index lost 0.07 point or 0.02% to 300.72 from yesterdays closing at 300.79 after moving between 299.57 302.49.
