Indonesian stocks decrease 0.76% to 3,554.43 led by banking stocks

JAKARTA: Indonesias benchmark stock index, Indonesia Stock Exchange, lowered 0.76% to 3,554.43 from 3,581.57 after moving within the range of 3,582.14-3,591.29.

The slight drop was led by banking stocks, Bank Central Asia, Bank Mandiri, and Bank Rakyat Indonesia.Out of 420 shares supporting the index, nine shares strengthened, 10 shares weakened, and the remaining of 401 shares remained stagnant.Adaro Energy led the strengthening of index by contributing with 7.61 points, followed by Bumi Resources with 1.24 points, Astra Iternational with 0.96 points, and International Nickel Indonesia with 0.59 points.Then, several shares sustaining the indexs strengthening with a negative contribution by BCA with 5.80 points, Bank Mandiri with 3.71 points, Bank Rakyat Indonesia with 3.63 points, and Perusahaan Gas Negara with 2.16 points.Furthermore, five of nine sectors traded in Indonesia Stock exchange have provided positive contribution.
