CT could face another fit and proper test

JAKARTA: The owner and President Commissioner of PT Bank Mega Tbk, Chairul Tanjung probably will face his second fit and proper test following sanctions from Indonesias central bank to the listed lender on fund embezzlement case.All management and executives of Bank Mega shall undertake the fit and proper test, said Deputy Governor of Bank Indonesia Halim Alamsyah.Fit and proper test is designed to management and executive officers, he said after attending a seminar entitled Fund Embezzlement Case and a Flaw of Priority Banking Crimes yesterday.Halim also confirmed that management includes Bank Megas commissioners. Management refers to board of commissioners and directors, he said.For the time being, Chairul Tanjung serves as the president commissioner of Bank Mega along with Achjadi Ranuwisastra and Rachmat Maulana as commissioners.
