Intiland develops new hotel in Bali

JAKARTA: Property developer PT Intiland Development Tbk's unit, PT Intiwhiz International, is expanding the network of Whiz Hotel by constructing Whiz Hotel Kuta in Bali, starting on December 27, 2010.

President Director Intiwhiz Moedjianto Soesilo Tjahjono, who also serves as CEO, said that the hotel in Bali is the fifth expansion after Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Semarang, and Surabaya.According to him, the construction of Whiz Hotel Kuta will be completed by strategic cooperation with investors but Intiwhiz will independently manage the hotel. "It is the first hotel of Whiz Hotel networks in Bali. Apart from the hotel in Kuta, we will also build another one in Legian," he said in a press release sent to Bisnis today. He claimed that the location of Whiz Hotel Kuta is in a strategic area, near Kartika Plaza Kuta, which is one of the famous tourism places in Bali. Built on a 2,000 square-meter area, the hotel consists of a four-story tower and afive-story tower, adding to one basement. There will be 135 rooms in Whiz Hotel Kuta, which are categorized into standard, deluxe and suite with breadth 24 square meter in average. "Whiz Hotel Kuta will have modern concept decorated with local architecture. Other facilities, such as swimming pool, restaurant, meeting room, lobby bar, and spa will be available, as needed by the tourists," he added. (t04/wiw)
