JAKARTA: A pharmaceutical distributor company PT Enseval Putera Megatrading Tbk reported today a 12.83% increase in its net profit for the second quarter of 2011 to IDR111.80 billion or IDR41 a share.
The company booked revenue of IDR4.69 trillion in the period ended June 30, a 6.23% rise. However, its operating income declined 2.46% to IDR139.33 billion due to higher operating expenses.The cash and cash equivalent soared nearly twofold to IDR485.69 billion as per June 30, 2011, compared to IDR244.98 billion as per December 31, 2010.Enseval Puteras bank loans rose 62.60% to IDR39.50 billion.The EPMT-coded stock dropped 1.19% or IDR10 to IDR830 as of 2.55 p.m. local time in Jakarta trading today.
