JAKARTA: PT Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk fell 3.45%, the most in three months, to IDR5,600 following the plan to conduct rights issue to strengthen its capital.Although management has not detail the total issued shares, one source stated to Bisnis that it targets to pocket IDR4.5 trillion.The bank has allotted Citi and Deutsche Bank as the standby buyers with PT Danareksa as the arranger, CFO Vera Eve Lim told Bisnis. She refused to detail the targeted proceeds.

The company also conducted rights issue in early 2009 to obtain IDR3.9 trillion. At the moment, the offering price was at IDR1,200 per unit.Asia Financial (Indonesia) Pte Ltd, owned by Temasek Holdings, manages most of Danamon shares while the remaining 32.59% by public.In a first quarter this year, the bank booked IDR763 billion, 9% higher than IDR701 billion on the same period last year with 33% credit growth to IDR86 trillion.Third party fund increased 26% to IDR82.49 trillion from IDR65.57% in IQ/2010. The fund was dominated by deposit with IDR51.7 trillion, increased 22% from IDR42.48 trillion. Saving and current account increased 33% to IDR30.77 trillion from IDR23.09 trillion. (msw)
