JAKARTA: Roxxon Resources limited acquired 33.64% or 1.61 billion PT Star Petrochem Tbk shares per July 12, 2011.Based on PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia data, Roxxon obtained 1.79 billion fix allotment or 89.85% from the total offered shares.PT Andalan Artha Advisiondo Sekuritas was appointed as the underwriter.The allotment was given because Roxxon is considered as a potential investor and is committed to purchase the STAR-coded shares stock, PT Andalan Vice President Jimmy Randiatmoko told Bisnis.Roxxon is a British Virgin Islands-base investment company established by Ananda Soewono in 2004. If referring to a letter from Roxxon to Star Petrochem on June 15, Roxxon is not affiliated with the company.Star Petrochem will allocate IDR120 billion to construct a plant with 30,000 ton capacity in Boyolali, Center Java next year worth IDR120 billion, Director Irwando Saragih told Bisnis.
