JAKARTA: PT Maskapai Reasuransi Indonesia Tbk (Marein) pays dividend at IDR25 per share or totaling to IDR9.71 billion.
Such total dividend is 21.11% of the companys net profit until the end of last year at IDR46 billion, Mareins Director Ronni Widjaja said.We agreed to pay dividend at IDR25 per share while the remaining of other profit around 2.91 billion is set as special and general reserve funds and IDR33.38 billion as earnings that have not been determined its use, he said after attending the annual shareholders meeting, today.The company has posted a 44.95% growth in net profit to IDR46 billion until the end of last year from IDR31.74 billion, which contributed from the increase of gross premium around 17.41% to IDR564.3 billion from IDR480.63 billion and net premium 20.23% to IDR421.28 billion from IDR350.39 billion.Such growth made the companys underwriting revenue rose 23.37% to IDR380.69 billion from IDR308.58 billion.The underwriting result also increased 33.93% to IDR56.89 billion throughout last year from same period a year earlier around IDR42.47 billion. Meanwhile, investment result rose 3.97% to IDR22.66 billion from IDR21.78 billion.In todays trading, MREI-coded shares was still stagnant at IDR600 same with yesterdays closing and created IDR233.01 billion market capitalization.
