Telkom lifts Indonesian stocks by 0.05% to 3,572.38

JAKARTA: Indonesian stocks benchmar index slightly lifted 0.05% to 3,572.38 on todays opening led by Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Telkom).

Among 420 shares in the JCI, 9 shares lifted, 7 slipped and the rest remained stagnant.Telkom led the growth with 1.19 point followed by Bank negara Indonesia with 1.09 point, Bumi Resources with 0.62 point and Global Mediacom with 0.16 point.Shares that restrained further gain were Bank Mandiri with 1.24 point, Bank Rakyat Indonesia with 0.73 point, United Tractors with 0.39 point and Indika Energy with 0.31 point.Contrary to stronger IDX, BISNIS-27 opened trimmed 1.25% to 311.45.Fluctuation also occurred in regional benchmark indexes, Japans Nikkei 225 decrease 0.10% to 10,300.86, Hong Kongs Hang Seng surged 0.05% to 22,679.21.Chinas Shanghai SE fell 0.50% to 2,883.10 and Taiwans Taiex hiked 0.64% to 8,842.81. South Koreas Kospi and Singapores Straits Times individually jumped 0.59% and 0.17% to 2,021 and 3,153.15. (t05/wiw)
