JAKARTA: Indonesian stocks weak at the midday trading break tailing Asian stocks market that mainly lower.The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) declined 0.87%, or 36.16 points, to 4,109.66 lead by miscellaneous industries and finance shares. JCI moved at the range of 4,102.82-4,160.50. About three shares fell for every one share up. Almost a half of the shares traded were unchanged.The declining of the index mostly contributed by PT Astra International Tbk which had minus 7.09 points, followed by PT Bank Mandiri Tbk with minus 4.05 points, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk minus 2.85 points and PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk minus 2.23 points.PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk was one of several stocks that supported the index with 2.85 points gain. Other positive movements are made by shares of PT Sarana Menara Nusantara Tbk 2.20 points, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk 1.18 points and PT Indomobil Sukses Internasional Tbk 0.81 point.BISNIS-27 Index, the index of 27 stocks launched by business daily newspaper dubbed Bisnis Indonesia, decreased 0.91%, or 3.27 24 points to 355.94. BISNIS-27 Index moved at the range of 355.19-360.95.From regional market, Nikkei 225 declined 0.59% to 9,842.60, Hang Seng in Hong Kong market decreased 0.73% to 22,407.01, Shanghai SE slipped 0.47% to 2,696.13, South Korean's Kospi decreased 0.71% to 2,140.33 and Straits Times in Singapore slipped 0.22% to 3,182.81.The MSCI Asia Pacific Index declined 0.59% to 879.43.The rupiah traded decreased 0.06% against the US dollar at IDR8,499.
