JAKARTA: PT Intiland Development Tbk, an Indonesia-based leading developer, posted IDR501.08 billion revenue in the first half of this year or a 10.2% increase from IDR455.26 billion in the same period of last year.The higher revenue was stimulated by higher net sales worth by 12.7% to IDR442.51 billion, confirmed by Intiland Capital and Investment Management Archied Noto Pradono.The great performance of sales has been contributed from projects of 1Park Residences apartment, Talaga Bestari Residence, Pinang Residences, Graha Famili, Graha Natura, and Ngoro Industrial Park, he told Bisnis yesterday.In a term of business sector, the largest contribution came from residential sector by 46.1% of total revenue to IDR231.50 billion, then followed industrial area sector by 42.1% or IDR211 billion, office sector by 7.4% or IDR37.33 billion, hotel sector by IDR3.7 billion, and other sectors by 3.6% or IDR18.34 billion.On the other hand, net income declined 45.6% to IDR101.87 billion from IDR223.06 billion in the same period of 2010.According to Archied, the higher net income in the first half of 2010 was bolstered by sale of long-term investment worth IDR136 billion from divestment of its subsidiary, PT Grand Interwisata.Operationally, the company can record income growth in the first half of 2011, if the figure is reduced by last years asset divestment leading to 16.7% increase, he said.In a term of marketing, the developer had booked higher sales by 20% to IDR430 billion until June compared to that in the same period of last year.1Park Residences today has been sold 75% of total units at 379 units. In addition, the sales price also increases 30% to IDR16 million in this year from IDR12 million, he said.In the meantime, Corporate Secretary of Intiland Theresia Rustandi added the industrial area of Ngoro is growing significantly in this year stimulated by increasing demand against industrial area in East Java.
