JAKARTA: Number of workplace accident cases this year reached 98,711 cases, the highest in five years, with occupational accident insurance payments more than IDR401 billion.The number of workplace accidents and its social security payment continues to increase in the last five years, PT Jamsosteks President Director Hotbonar Sinaga said.Health and safety at work is very important in companys production process, he said, yesterday.Jamsosteks data shows that there were 96,314 cases in 2009 with claim value reached IDR328 billion.
