JAKARTA: Manajemen klub X2 yang berlokasi di Plaza Senayan sejak Selasa 31Januari sudah mengabarkan tentang beredarnya hoax yang tentang ancaman bom di beberapa tempat di Jakarta, termasuk klub tersebut.
Dalam akun facebook-nya, manajemen klub tersebut memajang pengumuman yang berbunyi:
HOAX ALERT!!
Dear Clients & Customers,
If you received a warning message about bomb thread in X2 Club, Four Season & Shangri-La, please ignore it.
The message is a hoax, intended to do harm to X2. We have confirmed with the local police and have confirmed that no such news exist on the cited websites.
X2 and Plaza Senayan security troops are fully committed to the safety of all our clients & customers.
This is a serious evil action to tarnish our city Jakarta and our country Indonesia's reputation! Whoever is behind this hoax will be severely punished by the law once caught.

Sampai semalam (Rabu 1 Januari) masih bertebaran hoax tentang ancaman bom yang disebarkan melalui jejaring sosial terutama BlackBerry Messenger. Pihak kepolisian juga telah membantah rumor tersebut.
Pesan palsu itu berbunyi:
"Info fm Australia. Just for precaution. Interpol has just received news (00.44 am) about a possible bomb threat at Four Seasons, Shangrila hotel, and one of the Night Clubs in Jakarta (HIGH possibility X2 Club at Plaza Senayan Shopping Mall In Jakarta by car bomb). Please avoid Jl HR Rasuna Said and especially Jl. Asia Afrika for the next few days or weeks & avoid bringing your family, friends and closed ones to these public places. Please pass on this message to those you know. You might be saving lives, take care. Ref : Interpol.com & Bangkokpost.com."
Bisnis yang menelusuri Interpol.com dan Bangkokpost.com tidak menemukan berita tersebut sehingga bisa dipastikan pesan tersebut adalah palsu.
Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Rikwanto memastikan berita tersebut tidak benar. Meski begitu, polisi akan terus memburu siapa penyebar berita palsu menyesatkan tersebut. (ea)
