JAKARTA: An automotive filters and radiators manufacturer PT Selamat Sempurna Tbk, bagged 35.27% net income growth in the first half of 2011 compared to the same period a year earlier, thanks to higher revenue.In a financial statement published today, Selamat Sempurna posted IDR99.11 billion of net income compared to IDR72.26 billion.The company posted revenue of IDR875.25 billion, rose 13.78% compared to the same period last year.In line with such net income increase, the company also recorded a 33.19% growth in operating income, amounting to IDR147.69 billion.The cash and cash equivalents soared almost threefold to IDR38.30 billion as of June 30, 2011, compared to IDR14.31 billion as at end 2010.The SMSM-coded stock declined 4.44%, or IDR60, at IDR1,290 as of 1.48 p.m. in Jakarta trading.
