JAKARTA: Indonesian shares decreased 0.85% or 35.60 points to 4,138.52 at the midday trading break lead by finance and miscellaneous industry shares.Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) moved at the range of 4,122-4,172.25. About two shares fell for every one share up. More than a half of the shares traded were unchanged.The index decrease was mostly contributed by PT Astra International Tbk which had minus 13 points, followed by PT Bank Central Asia Tbk with minus 5.70 points, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk minus 4.28 points and PT Bank Mandiri Tbk minus 4.05 points.PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk was one of several stocks that supported the index with 2.67 points gain. Other positive movements were made by PT Adaro Energy Tbk with 1.87 points and PT Indofood Sukses Makmur Tbk 1.03 points.BISNIS-27 Index, the index of 27 stocks launched by business daily newspaper dubbed Bisnis Indonesia, dropped 1.46% or 5.31 points to 359.15. The index moved within range 358.46-364.18.From regional market, Nikkei 225 decreased 1.73% to 9,873.81, Hang Seng fell 1.03% to 22,308.44, Shanghai SE slipped 0.93% to 2,698.28, Kospi decreased 0.97% to 2,153.89 and Straits Times decreased 0.50% to 3,177.71.The MSCI Asia Pacific Index slumped 1.34% to 878.10.The rupiah decreased 0.20% at IDR8,504 per US dollar.
