JAKARTA: Sari Roti-brand bread producer, PT Nippon Indosari Corpindo Tbk probably recorded 28% revenue jump in the first half of 2011, compared to IDR200 billion in the same period last year.Such revenue jump was backed by the establishment of new outlets, reaching 24,000 outlets from 19,000 outlets last year, said Nippon Operating Director Yusuf Hadi.Our sale rises along with the new outlets establishment, resulting into 27%-28% revenue jump, he told Bisnis yesterday.Further, Yusuf explained that such revenue jump is also spurred by the newly-operated plants in Medan and Semarang. The output production from those plants will contribute 10%-20% to Nippons total revenue.Meanwhile, the management still reviews the net income. Yet he expressed optimism that Nippon will bag relatively solid net income in the first half this year.Nippon Indosari expects its revenue to grow by 20% until the end of the year, reaching IDR734.4 billion compared to last year. Yusuf is optimistic that such target is achievable following Nippons performance in the first half this year.Nippon also plans to construct new plants with 200,000-pieces capacity per day. At the moment, Nippon is still surveying the land price on the locations where the plants will be built on.The company requires IDR150 billion to construct the new plants as Nippon is currently reviewing financing alternative to realize such expansion.We are still negotiating with Mandiri Sekuritas and OSK Nusadana regarding to the fund raising. Probably, we will derive the fund through bank loan or bonds issuance, he said.Nippon probably will issue around IDR100 billion bonds this year. Yet, it is not a final decision as the management still reviews this plan.The company also considers issuing medium term notes as Nippon requires only small amount of fund.We do have such option (MTN issuance), yet again, it has not been decided, he said.
