JAKARTA: PT Elnusa Tbk, a leading upstream oil and gas service company, had realized capital expenditure by US$50 million or equivalent to IDR450 million in June 2011. The figure was a half of allocated capital expenditure this year by US$100 million.The capex throughout current year has been allocated for financing exploration and seismic service activity focusing on offshore, Elnusa Corporate Secretary Heru Samodra.Until now, the capex has been spent by US$50million which is mostly for enhancing performance of seismic division in offshore, Heru said at the end of last week.Today, Elnusa has established a joint venture with PT ElnusaCGGVeritas Seismic, the first company that has operated Indonesian-flagged seismic vessel in Indonesia.
