JAKARTA: Bank Indonesia Deputy Governor S. Budi Rochadi passed away this morning, reportedly suffered a heart attack in New York. It is reported at seven this morning, when he was in official residence of Bank Indonesia Representative in New York, he told Bisnis today.Budi Rochadi was born in Solo, March 24, 1951. He received a bachelor degree in economics in 1975 from Universitas gajah Mada, Yogyakarta. He also held a master degree in economics from Michigan State University, United States.He joined Bank Indonesia in 1975. Budi Rochadi once held the post of Head Bank Indonesia Semarang, Head Bank Indonesia Medan, and Head Bank Indonesia Representative Office in Tokyo. Then, he sat as Senior Director of Bank Supervision.Budi Rochadi held the post of Deputy Governor based on President Decree in 2006. He was inaugurated for his current position on January 11, 2007.
