JAKARTA: Indonesian shares decreased 0.02% or 0.93 point to 4,002.76 at the opening session boosted by declining of finance and infrastructure shares, whilst regional markets losses as United States unemployment unexpectedly increased.At the early trading, Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) continued to drop. As of 09.42 local time, JCI declined 0.46% or 18.57 points to 3,985.12. JCI was moving at the range of 3,979.64-4,002.76. About five shares fell for every one share up, whilst more than a half of the shares traded were unchanged.Some blue chip shares were dragging JCI down, including PT Bank Central Asia Tbk which gave minus 4.28 points contribution, followed by PT Astra International Tbk with minus 3.78 points, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk minus 1.43 points and PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk minus 1.18 points.PT Bank Mandiri Tbk was one of several stocks that prevented the index drop with positive contribution of 1.35 points. Included in this line are shares of PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk 0.45 point, PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk minus 0.18 point and PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk minus 0.13 point.Meanwhile, Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.49% to 12,657.20, S&P 500 Index decreased 0.70% to 1,343.80 and Nasdaq Composite Index slipped 0.45% to 2,859.01From regional market, Nikkei 225 declined 0.48% to 10,089.56, Hang Seng in Hong Kong market decreased 0.79% to 22,547.41, Shanghai SE slipped 0.42% to 2,786.90, South Korean's Kospi declined 0.84% to 2,161.97 and Straits Times in Singapore slipped 0.84% to 3,124.50.The MSCI Asia Pacific Index fell 1.23% to 886.10.The rupiah traded decreased 0.13% against the US dollar at IDR8,525.
