JAKARTA: K-Link International, a marketing company for supplement foods and beverages products applying a multi level marketing system, has scheduled to relocate its plant from Malaysia to Indonesia gradually to 2014 requiring IDR280 billion investment.After operating in Indonesia for 10 years, K-Link had decided to invest through a production center construction in Sentul, Bogor, West Java, as confirmed by President Director of K-Link Indonesia MD Radzi.Today, the company has acquired already 18,000 square meter land and has allocated IDR280 billion investment for the initial stage.Meanwhile, the company has viewed Indonesia has a highly strategic position for export to countries of Asean.In addition, Indonesia provides lower production cost and cheaper raw materials in Indonesia than those of in Malaysia.Even, besides relocating the production center, the company will also spend IDR300 billion investment to establish its basis of office and marketing system management in Jakarta.The plant relocation and K-Links office establishment is projected to absorb to 1,000 workers, he said.In 2012, K-Link will construct the largest warehouse basis among K-Link International networks in an industrial zone of Sentul. Later, the warehouse center is predicted to accommodate more than 30 million units of product stocks.In the meantime, at the similar location, a production basis will be also constructed by 2014 that will produce such kinds of supplement foods and beverages as UIE K-Liquid Chlorophyll, Gamat, Kinotakara and K-Liquid Organic Spirulinae.(t01/msw)
