LONDON: Nine companies participate at Indonesia Stock Exchange and Daiwa Securities overseas roadshow to London and New York on July 11-15 as a way to interact investors.
The roadshow is part of IDX annual event with Daiwa, Head of Marketing Division Yoyok Isharsaya told Bisnis. Besides London and New York, similar activity will also be conducted in Singapore and Tokyo in October.The nine companies are PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk, PT Jasa Marga Tbk, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk, PT Charoen Phokpand Tbk, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk, PT Indika Energy Tbk, PT Semen Gresik Tbk, PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk and PT Lippo Karawaci Tbk.He hoped Jakarta Composite Index's achievement to break 4,000 could entice potential investors.Based on market watchdog data, fund that successfully collected by exchange member through initial public offering, bond issuance, rights issues and sustainable public offering was at IDR49.27 trillion and US$50 million in the first half of 2011.The figure divided into 13 share offerings amounted to IDR11.21 trillion and IDR25.91 trillion bond issuance while sharia bond was only from one company amounted to IDR100 billion.In different occasion, Minister of Finance Agus Martowardojo stated the government will accelerate the settlement of the national capital market development regulations including the under review dual listing scheme.We will finish it as soon as possible.Government predicted capital market portfolio until the end of the year will be US$12.3 billion and direct investment US$10.9 billion.As capital market regulator, Bapepam-LK is currently processing six capital market regulations to complete a number of bond and share issuance procedures.Throughout this year, Bapepam-LK has revised two regulations that are Regulation Number IX.H.1 on Open Limited Company Takeover and Number IX.F.1 on Tender Offer on May 31.
