JAKARTA: PT Merpati Nusantara Airlines targeted load factor for new routes from Halim Perdanakusuma Jakarta to Bandar Lampung and Palembang by 90% or equal to the position before the airline stopped its service for those two cities in Sumatra.Deputy Managing Director Adhi Gunawan since last week Merpati said the company has re-opened new route HalimPerdanakusuma Jakarta-Bandar Lampung-Palembang after being stopped in 2006."From this route we are targeting the same load factor as it was before, which is about 90%. We are optimistic that this can be achieved because of many requests from people in both cities," he said, today.He said the company will fly Bandar Lampung and Palembang after obtaining additional new aircrafts. Previously the airline flew the two cities in Sumatra but the airline stopped its operation in 2006 due to shortage of fleets. (bes) (t03/msw)
