JAKARTA: Perum Pegadaian appointed PT Mandiri Sekuritas as its underwriter in issuing medium-term note worth IDR1 trillion. The proceeds will be used to meet Pegadaians financial requirements.In addition to the note issuance, Pegadaian appointed PT Bahana Securities and PT Danareksa Sekuritas as the underwriter for conventional bond issuance. Based on Bisnis data it will worth IDR2 trillion.Both issuances will be based on Pegadaians financial report per March.It is scheduled in September, Director of Finance Budiyanto told Bisnis.Mandiri Sekuritass Managing Director Kartika Wirjoatmojo confirmed the matter. Pegadaian needs IDR5.2 trillion financing fund.Based on Bisnis data, Pegadaian owns IDR3 trillion total bond. From the total figure, IDR336.5 billion bond with 12.94% per year coupon due today, July 11.To date, PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo) assigned Pegadaian with idAA+. As written on its research, published March 17, the rating was assigned for Pegadaian and X/2003/A bond worth IDR336.5 billion due in July.Companys readiness to clear the bond was viewed from companys cash and cash equivalent position at IDR357.1 billion at the end of 2010 and income from monthly mortgage service.The research detailed that in 2010Pegadaian distributed IDR62.3 trillion credit to 23 million customers.Besides Pegadaians MTN, Mandiri Sekuritas will work on three IPOs in the fourth quarter of 2011, Kartika told Bisnis.Throughout the first half of 2011, Mandiri Sekuritas, she continued, managed IPOs and rights issues amounted to IDR6.7 trillion with 20% market share.With such achievement, the securities awarded as The Best Exchange Member, The Most Active Underwriter, and The Best Marketing Network Exchange Member.
