JAKARTA: Indonesian stock advanced helped by the rebound of finance and miscellaneous shares at the midday trading break today.Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), which measures the overall performance of Indonesian shares, gained 0.78% or 29.45 points to 3,802.79.The increase in JCI was led by PT Astra International Tbk which contributed 7.57 points to the index, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk 4.28 points, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk 2.85 points and PT Gudang Garam Tbk 1.80 points.Shares that hampered the movement of JCI were PT Adaro Energy Tbk with -0.94 point, PT PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk -0.67 point, PT Bumi Resources Tbk -0.60 point and PT Chandra Asri Petrochemical Tbk -0.45 point.Bisnis-27 Index gained 1.10% or 3.56 points to 327.79. The stock benchmark covering 27 stocks and launched by business daily newspaper dubbed Bisnis Indonesia was moving within range 324.25-328.42.From regional market, Nikkei rose 0.30% to 9,576.36, Hang Seng declined 0.39% to 22,408.33, Shanghai SE decreased 0.49% to 2,716.80, Kospi slipped 0.06% to 2,075.66 and Straits Times increased 0.04% to 3,098.72.The MSCI Asia Pacific Index declined 0.17% to 878.78.The rupiah traded declined 0.09% against the US dollar at IDR8,542.
