JAKARTA: PT Adhi Karya Tbk expects to realize 50% projects of last year (carry over) by this year from the total carry over projects at IDR6.5 trillion.Adhi Karya Tbk Finance Director Supardi said that the construction company through May this year has grabbed new contracts worth as much as IDR3 trillion, completing 25% of the full year target at IDR12 trillion.We could not tell the details on carry over contracts we are working right now because they are jumbled with new running contracts but we are optimistic to complete 50% of carry over contracts this year, he said yesterday.He mentioned that several projects are expected to give big income this year, including the steam power plant in East Borneo with capacity of 2x100 megawatt worth IDR200 billion and in Tembilahan with capacity of 2x7 megawatt worth IDR100 billion.The state-controlled construction company has just received IDR1.2 trillion-worth Gundih project from Pertamina. It also is working on Sintang steam power plant with capacity of 3x7 megawatt worth IDR150 billion, and flyover road of Satrio-Casablanca with total investment needed at IDR100 billion.We are trying to increase EPC [engineering, procurement, constructions] projects, mainly power plant projects as one strategy to support business growth, he exposed.In a shareholders meeting yesterday, the company decided to share dividend IDR32.35 per shares or IDR56.84 billion in total for book year ended December 31, 2010.Adhi Karya Corporate Secretary Kurnadi Gularso revealed that total cash dividend to be paid were equaled to 30% of the company total profit at IDR189.48 billion.While the remaining 1.5% will be allocated for partnership and community development and the other 68.5% will be recorded as retained earnings, he said. During 2010, the company made net income at IDR165.53 billion. Company income fell 26.44% to IDR5.67 trillion from IDR7.71 trillion.In the first quarter of 2011, the company income also shrank 34,68% to IDR625.25 billion from IDR957.21 billion in the same period last year.
