Mining and miscellaneous industry were the two sector which dragged JCI down this morning.Declining of Indonesian stocks was lead by PT Bank Mandiri Tbk which gave -2.70 points contribution, followed by PT Astra International Tbk with -2.13 points, PT Bumi Resources Tbk -1.21 points and PT United Tractors Tbk -1.09 points.PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk was one of several stocks that prevented the index drop with positive contribution of 0.45 point. Included in this line are shares of PT Enseval Putra Megatrading Tbk 0.19 point, PT Global Mediacom Tbk 0.16 point and PT Indosiar Karya Media Tbk 0.02 point.Meanwhile, Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.42% to 11,951.91 and Nasdaq Composite Index declined 1.53% to 2,643.73.In the regional market, Nikkei 225 slid 0.77% to 9,441.34, Hang Seng in Hong Kong market declined 0.60% to 22,283.82, Shanghai SE dropped 1.25% to 2,671.76, South Korean's Kospi gained 0.31% to 2,052.52, and Straits Times in Singapore slipped 0.46% to 3,064.22.The MSCI Asia Pacific Index fell 0.51% to 869.58.The rupiah traded declined 0.12% against the US dollar at IDR8,530.
