JAKARTA: Indonesian stocks decreased 0.49% or 18.54 points to 3,787.65 in the closing session as foreign investor booked net sell. Meanwhile, the regional market mainly moved in the red zone.The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was moving at the range of 3,779.28-3,821.84. About three shares fell for every one share up. More than a half of the shares traded were unchanged.Miscellaneous and mining industries were the two sectors which contributed most to the decline.The lagging shares were PT Astra International Tbk with -6.15 points, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk with -1.35 points, PT Adira Dinamika Multi Finance Tbk -1.23 points and PT Bumi Resources Tbk -1.21 points.PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk was one of several stocks that sustained the index with positive contribution of 1.35 points. Included in this line were shares of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk 1.18 points, PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology Tbk 0.67 point and PT XL Axiata Tbk 0.50 point.BISNIS-27 Index, the stock benchmark covering 27 stocks and launched by business daily newspaper dubbed Bisnis Indonesia, also decreased 0.53% or 1.74 points to 324.85. Bisnis-27 Index was moving at the range of 324.11-328.38.Today, foreign investors recorded net sell of IDR142.03 billion. Trading volume reached 4.05 billion shares amounting to IDR3.10 trillion. JCIs market capitalization was IDR3.41 trillion.From European market, FTSE 100 Index rose 0.05% to 5,859.11 and Euro Stoxx 50 PR declined 0.09% to 2,725.98.In the regional market, Nikkei 225 rose 0.50% to 9,514.44, Hang Seng in Hong Kong market fell 0.84% to 22,420.37. Shanghai SE gained 0.07% to 2,705.14, South Korean's Kospi dropped 1.19% to 2,046.67, and Straits Times in Singapore slid 0.56% to 3,079.35.The MSCI Asia Pacific excluding Japan Index declined 1.28% to 874.37.The rupiah traded slightly advanced 0.01% against the US dollar at IDR8,520.
