JAKARTA: Indonesian shares decreased 0.26% or 9.82 points to to 3,834.20 in the closing session, tailing regional market which mainly red as rising concerning about the global economy recovery after United States reported that unemployment rate inched up last month to 9.1%.The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was moving at the range of 3,843.74-3,819.60. About two shares fell for every one share up. Almost a half of the shares traded were unchanged.The JCI continue to decrease from its opening session this morning. At the midday trading, JCI also slipped. The main sector drag JCI down was financial.The biggest contributor for the JCI drop was PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk with -5.75 points, followed by PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk with 3.57 points, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk 2.72 points and PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk 2.37 points.PT Bumi Resources Tbk was one of several stocks that prevented the index drop with positive contribution of 2.44 points. Included in this line are shares of PT Bayan Resources Tbk 1.77 points, PT Gudang Garam Tbk 1.59 points and PT Astra International Tbk 1.19 points.BISNIS-27 Index, the stock benchmark covering 27 stocks and launched by business daily newspaper dubbed Bisnis Indonesia, also decreased 0.68% or 2.26 points to 330.66. Bisnis-27 Index was moving at the range of 329.26-332.87.Meanwhile, most of European market declined this afternoon. Euro Stoxx 50 abated 0.42% to 2,777.40 and FTSE 100 Index slipped 0.13% to 5,848.16..The unemployment rate in U.S. rose to 9.1% from 9%, the Labor Department reported in last Friday. Only 54,000 jobs were created in May, the fewest in eight months.In the regional market, Nikkei 225 declined 1.18% to 9,380.35, Hang Seng in Hong Kong market fell 1.31% to 22,949.56. Shanghai SE rose 0.84% to 2,727.02, South Korean's Kospi slipped 0.03% to 2,113.47 and Straits Times in Singapore decreased 0.98% to 3,114.70.The MSCI Asia Pacific excluding Japan Index slipped 0.06% to 902.06.The rupiah traded slightly increased 0.18% against the US dollar at IDR8,513.
