JAKARTA: Shipping operator PT Buana Listya Tama Tbk won US$320 million contract (IDR2.73 trillion) to provide facility of floating offshore coal terminal.The contract has a period of 20 years, as informed by Investor Relation Manager of Buana Listya Tama Peter Chayson. On the other hand, the operator also targets to win other three working contracts on shipping service.Unfortunately, Financial Director of Buana Listya Tama Kevin Wong declined to publish the total investment for the facility construction.There is no information on the total investment as well as the client. Later, the terminal will be operated in Sumatra, he explained.Throughout this year, net income of Buana Listya Tama is expected to penetrate level of US$34 million or IDR292.65 billion stimulated by better performance in the first quarter of 2011 than the last years performance.In the meantime, the net income for the first quarter of 2011 was reported to soar by 118.77% to IDR85.17 billion from IDR38.93 billion in the same period of last year.Buana Listya Tama is a subsidiary of giant shipping operator, PT Berlian Laju Tanker Tbk, and had officaly listed its shares in the stock exchange last week with total proceed of initial public offering by IDR1.03 trillion.However, Buana Listya Tama has higher proceed target, so it decides to do road shows in order to meet with local and foreign analysts and investors. Based on schedule, the road show in Indonesia will be held on June 1-18 2011, while on June 9-17 2011 for road show in abroad.(t01)
