BRI pours IDR300 billion credit to PT Eksploitasi dan Industri Hutan

JAKARTA: PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia will disburse IDR300 billion credit facility to PT Eksploitasi dan Industri Hutan, to develop industrial forest. BRI President Director Sofyan Basir stated the bank will disburse credit to 5 state-owned enterprises engaging in the forestry industry, namely PT Eksploitasi dan Industri Hutan (Inhutani) I, II, III, IV, and V.For one Inhutani, it could get IDR60 billion.The facility will be used to develop industrial forest, a cooperation project between Inhutani and Perum Perhutani.Besides funding Inhutani, BRI also provides Perum Perhutani a credit facility to fund its capital expenditure and operating expenses in 2011.In 2011, Perhutani sets IDR1.96 trillion of which IDR964 billlion will go to capex and IDR1 trillion for operating expenses.
