JAKARTA: Indonesian shares decreased 0.24% or 9.56 points to 4,023.42 at the closing session lead by finance and miscellaneous industry shares.Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) moved at the range of 4,002.46-4,032.70. About one share fell for every one share up. More than a half of the shares traded were unchanged.The index decrease was mostly contributed by PT Bank Mandiri Tbk which had minus 6.74 points, followed by PT Astra International Tbk with minus 5.44 points, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk minus 4.27 points and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk minus 2.85 points.PT Bumi Resources Tbk was one of several stocks that supported the index with 1.21 points gain. Other positive movements are made by shares of PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk 1.02 points, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk 0.99 point and PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk 0.90 point.BISNIS-27 Index, the index of 27 stocks launched by business daily newspaper dubbed Bisnis Indonesia, dropped 0.95% or 3.37 points to 349.24. The index moved within range 347.66-352.57.Meanwhile, Euro Stoxx 50 PR rose 1.62% to 2,664.15 and FTSE 100 Index increased 0.53% to 5,783.97.From regional market, Nikkei 225 decreased 0.85% to 9,889.72, Hang Seng rose 0.45% to 21,902.40, Shanghai SE slipped 0.70% to 2,796.98, Kospi decreased 0.01% to 2,130.21 and Straits Times increased 0.52% to 3,094.27.The MSCI Asia Pacific Index increased 0.30% to 860.04.The rupiah rose 0.11% at IDR8,550 per US dollar.
