JAKARTA: PT Purimas Sasmita, a subsidiary of Golden Agri Resources Ltd, disbursed IDR375.50 billion to lift its ownership in PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Technology (Smart) Tbk.In an information disclosure to Indonesia Stock Exchange today, Director Jimmy Pramono said that the company purchased 54.42 million shares at IDR6,900 per share, in a deal settled on July 1, 2011.Currently, the company dominates 2.79 billion shares or 97.20%, increasing from 95.21% as of March 31, 2011.Smart booked IDR7.73 trillion revenues in the first quarter of 2011, almost two times higher than the revenues in the same period last year. The company posted a 43.04% growth in net operating income. Meanwhile, its net income soared 33.02% to IDR584.08 billion.The SMAR-coded stock decreased 1.44% or IDR100 to IDR6,850 at the closing session at the Jakarta Stock Exchange today. (NOM)
