JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite Index (JCI), which measures the overall performance of Indonesian shares, slightly decreased 0.07% or 2.72 points to 3,829.66 at the midday trading break.Meanwhile the regional market swung between gains and losses. The JCI was moving at the range of 3,820.04-3,836.87. About one share fell for every one share up. More than a half of the shares traded were unchanged.A decreasing of blue chip shares was dragging JCI down. Share of PT Adaro Energy Tbk gave minus 1.88 points contribution, followed by PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk with minus 1.19 points, PT Harum Energy Tbk minus 0.72 point, and PT Astra International Tbk minus 0.72 points.PT United Tractors Tbk was one of several stocks that prevented the index drop with positive contribution of 1.54 points. Included in this line are shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk with 1.44 points, PT Bank Mandiri Tbk with 1.36 points, and PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk with 0.90 points.BISNIS-27 Index, the stock benchmark covering 27 stocks and launched by business daily newspaper dubbed Bisnis Indonesia, slightly increased 0.06% or 0.20 point to 332.39. Bisnis-27 Index moved within range 330.89-332.94.In the regional market, Nikkei 225 slipped 0.13% to 9,509.78, Hang Seng in Hong Kong market gained 0.51% to 23,236.57. Shanghai SE inched-up 0.47% to 2,722.78, South Korean's Kospi declined 0.24% to 2,095.23, and Straits Times in Singapore gained 0.58% to 3,153.83.The MSCI Asia Pacific Index increased 0.13% to 900.26.
