JAKARTA: PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia booked IDR290.58 trillion third party fund in Q1/2011, or rose 20.32% from IDR241.50 trillion in Q1/2010.BRI Corporate Secretary Muhammad Ali stated saving products contributed 14.05% to the total TPF in 2010, increasing from 13.03% in the previous year.Average growth per year from 2006 to 2010 was 27.46% with a total fund collected amounting IDR328.56 trillion in 2010.BRI saving products consist of current account, saving and deposit. BRI serves 28.85 million customers at the end of March 2011, dominated by Village deposits (Simpedes), having more than 20.02 million customers.BRItama was the second-biggest contributor with 7.66 million customers, Junio with 197.612 customers and Tabungan Haji with 532.849 customers.Next, GiroBRI has 113.259 customers and DepoBRI has 316.422 customers.These achievements, he explained, are resulted from network expansion, electronics portal and saving products improvement.
