JAKARTA: PT Lippo Karawaci (LPKR) Tbk is partnering with PT Mitra Adiperkasa (MAP) Tbk to develop St. Moritz Shopping Mall at Puri Indah, West Jakarta's Central Business District and Kemang Village Mall.The company allocates a 44,500-sqm retail room for the retail company at two malls of LPKR, including confirmation from Debenhams as the anchor tenant at those malls."The entry of Debenhams reflects Lippo's interest to introduce new retail brands and services to the malls, said CEO of Mall Lippo Karawaci's Retail Division Michael Riady, during the signing of the partnership agreement. Based on the agreement, Mitra Adiperkasa will occupy more than 20% of the rented areas. Debenhams, one of MAP's international department stores, will occupy 17,000-sqm area at St. Moritz Shopping Mall and 17,500-sqm area at Kemang Village.The retail giant will also fill up 6,500-sqm area at St. Moritz and 3,500-sqm area at Kemang Village with famous brands like Zara, Next, Marks & Spencer, Kidz Station, Starbucks, Burger King, Domino's Pizza as well as other brands in MAP's portfolio.
