JAKARTA: The total asset in the form of shares and bonds which are listed in Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) as of January 2011 reached IDR1,917.9 trillion or down IDR126.64 trillion compared with IDR2,044.55 trillion on December 2010.Citing data of KSEI released today, the decline is the highest in 14 months since as the decline in Jakarta Composite Index earlier this year.Foreign investors booked the highest decline, with a drop of IDR86.8 trillion from IDR 1,196.63 trillion to IDR1,109.83 in January 2011.The decline also appeared in the assets of local investors in January 2011 which dropped IDR39.84 trillion to IDR808.08 trillion compared with IDR847.92 trillion in the end of 2010.The decline on the assets in form of shares is the highest while, bonds posted a slight increase.
