JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) rose 24.53 points to end the first season. JCI lifted 0.67% to 3,684.53 from yesterday closing and it moved within the range of 3,660.09 3,688.31.
Among 420 shares in the index, 108 shares rose, 64 fell and the remaining 248 were unchanged.Unilever Indonesia still led the growth with 3.17 points followed by Bank Central Asia with 2.90 points, Bank Mega with 1.87 points and Bank Negara Indonesia with 1.65 points.Shares that burden further gain were Telekomunikasi Indonesia with -2.40 points followed by Charoen Pokphand Indonesia with 0.98 point, Perusahaan Gas Negara with 0.72 point and Media Nusantara with 0.33 point.From all nine sectoral indexes, eight groups contributed positive appreciation. Finance motored it with 30.77% followed by consumer goods with 26.01%, mining with 21.74% and miscellaneous industry with 7.94%.BISNIS-27 also hiked 1.70 points to 321.42 on this midday break.
