JAKARTA: European stocks rose to the highest level in 27 months on good performance of energy stocks.The rising crude price has somewhow elevated the energy stocks traded at the bourses amid thin market transactions ahead of Christmas Holiday, PT Monex Investindo Futures said in its market update. The higher crude price in 2 years in yesterday's trading responded higher demand globally, particularly related to winter season in US which has reduced the inventory due to peak season of oil consumption. Fuel demand in US goes higher than 2010 forecast. At the same time, EUR/USD was traded at 1.3098 after moving as low as 1.3087. (NOM)
