JAKARTA: Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) is likely to increase today, which moves within the range of 3,6003,690.Head of Research Bhakti Securities Edwin Sebayang said the increase occurred as the negative news that affecting the stock market has ended. Meanwhile, the state debt in Europe, war in Korea and the increase of interest rate in China is considered only give a momentary psychological impact toward the investor that once caused a drop in the index."The index is still likely to increase due to the negative news were already used up (price in) by the market, only a momentary psychological impact that still remains. In addition, the increase also occurs related to window dressing and the January effect," he said.The stocks that are expected to sustain the index movement today are the stocks of commodity sector, infrastructure and cement.JCI in yesterdays trading drove positively. The window dressing finally conducted by marketer although the market condition is still actually good. The decline that occurred for few days made the index rebounded back to the level before it was corrected.The index in yesterdays trading rose 1.92% to 3,637.45, while BISNIS-27 index increased 2.25% to 319.98.The marketer put greater view on the sentiment within the country. Previous concern about the latest condition of the Korean Peninsula has eased. The oversold point has reached the index and its time for the marketer to conduct selective purchase.Moreover, before the end of the year ends, generally the stock exposed to the window dressing that conducted by investment managers in order to increase the stock prices.
