JAKARTA: Rupiah will tend to consolidate today on the potential capital inflow.BNI Treasury Research Division noted in its morning review that the capital inflow will enter Indonesian market if the index moves in the same directionwith Wall Street. Rupiahwas closed flat at IDR9,042 a US$ yesterday.The state lender also said that rupiah movement will be backed up with the plan of government bond portfolio management. The planto buy back governments bond maturing 2011-2018 will absorb liquidity at the market, thus supporting rupiah toappreciate.BNI Treasury Research suggests to buy USD/IDR at 9,040 and sell at 9,050. It sets the support-resistant levels at IDR9,025-IDR9,065. (NOM)
