JAKARTA: Asian stocks gained on rising banking and property stocks.Japan's Nikkei gained 5 points to close at 10,300 due to the increase in banking shares, PT Monex Investindo Futures said in its market update this afternoon. Hang Seng also added 120 points to close at 22,672 on rising property shares. Hang Lung Property became the leading mover. Korea's Kospi surged by 235 points in the closing session after the releases of US economic data and rebound in banking shares. (NOM)
