JAKARTA: Indonesia's third largest cement maker PT Holcim Indonesia Tbk seeks to record 6%-8% increase over its revenue by next year or in line with Indonesias growing cement consumption.Relation Manager Director of Holcim, Rusli Setiawan said that his company did not set a high growth since it adjusts to the existing market and capacity. Until now, the company operates two cement plants with total production capacity of 8.3 million ton per year.Holcim also expected to book similar increase in its income. Unfortunately, Rusli declined to specify the revenue and income forecasts until the end of this year since it is still being discussed.We have to consider many factors in determining our revenue and income target. We seek to book at least 6%-8% as it suits the increasing of cement consumption next year. We also have to adjust it with the existing market and capitalization, he said when being contacted by Bisnis today.The Indonesias cement producer, as he added also plans to build a plant in Tuban, East Java whose production capacity reaches 1.7 million ton per year. The US$450 million-plant is expected to boost the companys revenue nearly 10%-15%.This new plant shall also bolster its production capacity to 10 million ton per year as the construction is expected to complete by 2013.At the moment, the company poses two plants in Narogong, West Java and Cilacap, Central Java with the total production capacity of 8.3 million ton clinker and hires 2,500 workers.Holcim recorded 9.32% rise in the Q3/2010 to IDR619.41 billion from IDR566.58 billion net profit in the same period last year Such gain is mainly propelled by the revenue jump of 3.13% to IDR4.28 trillion from IDR4.15 trillion, although its operational expense rose 7.48% from IDR610.09 billion to IDR655.75 billion.
