JAKARTA: PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk is finalizing the completion of Lippo Cikarang Citywalk first phase construction in 18,805 m2 area with investment valuing to IDR40 billion.Lippo Cikarang Citywalk is shopping malls that will be constructed in 36,000 m2 land with two phase constructions. The first phase construction of 8,000 m2 has reached its final phase and the soft opening will be conducted in February 2010.Meanwhile, the second phase construction will begin in mid 2011 with 10.000 m2 area.Endang Sutrisna, General Manager of Commercial Lippo Cikarang Citywalk said the mall is build in order to meet the company's commitment towards fulfilling the lifestyle of Lippo Cikarang residents and its surrounding.Several tenants have signed the MoU [memorandum of understanding] to open their business in Lippo Cikarang Citywalk. Our construction has reached its final phase and will be followed by soft launching soon, he said when attending the Lippo Cikarang Tenants Gathering and Public today.The company offers 32 units for rent with 75 m2 wide per unit in the initial offering phase and currently 60% of the units has been leased.He set a target for the whole units to be 100% rented by January next year so that 70% of the tenants are expected to operate after the soft opening in February.
