JAKARTA: PT Lippo General Insurance eyeing more than 30% growth of premium revenue in 2011 or IDR400 billion from the projection until the end of this year around IDR300 billion, following a number of business expansion plans.Director of Lippo Insurance Johannes M. Agus said the premium revenue up to September 2010 has booked IDR259.35 billion or increased 27% from same period last year at IDR200.71 billion.According to him, the premium revenue was dominated by health business with contribution of 60%, followed by property/fire business with 15%, motor vehicle with 15%, shipping with 8% and other businesses.Company used the corporate health business to manage employee benefit programs, which also create the composition of Lippo market segment as much as 80%.Health business is still dominated with various development conducted in its service and management system in order to give comfort to the customers. We will conducted several expansion to support the target of premium growth to reach IDR450 billion, he told Bisnis today.Director of Lippo Insurance Agus Benjamin said the company expansion in 2011 would be conducted by exploring the companys business lines in order to develop new products.The new products are targeted for retail customers particularly health business, travel insurance, motor vehicle and property/fire business.
