JAKARTA: Pharmaceutical company PT Kalbe Farma Tbk (KLBF) has upsized its capital expenditure (capex) in 2011 to IDR650 billion from previous target of IDR550 billion. Kalbe Farma Corporate Secretary Vidjongtius said the company will spend more capex because it plans to build a new drug maker facility at Cikarang. "Capex will be upsized from our previous target of IDR550 billion bacause we will build a new facility required IDr100 billion-IDR550 billion additional cost," he said.Kalbe will use internally generated cash flow to support the capex. By end of November, it manages IDR1.57 trillion cash on hand. He said the company doesn't has any intention to raise financing from bank loans or bonds. (wiw)
