JAKARTA: Construction and investment company PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero) Tbk secured new contracts amounting more than IDR945 billion in the past two months.PTPP CEO Musyanif explained that until November 2010 the new contracts were IDR5.28 trillion or rose 17.33% than September's acquisition at IDR4.5 trillion.The new contracts are in line with companys target. We are currently waiting for the announcement of big-value contracts in December 2010, like Cilegons Power Plant Combine Cycle, Siak IVs Bridge and some government buildings, he said in a press release sent to Bisnis.He also informed two new contracts in the past two months, they are, Islamic Centre Building worth IDR227.8 billion and a non-toll flyover of Antasari-Blok M-Pasar Cipete in Jakarta worth IDR309.3 billion.Most of the new contracts, he continued, were contribution from operational division II (Jakarta and West Java) and operational division III (Central Java, Kalimantan, Bali, NTB, NTT and Papua) totaling IDR672 billion and IDR244 billion, respectively.With the new contracts, the company's order book until November 2010 was recorded at IDR7.8 trillion while carry-over projects from 2009 are IDR2.6 trillion.In third quarter of 2010, PTPP booked a net income of IDR46.6 billion or rose 61.7%, compared to IDR28.81 billion last year.
