JAKARTA: PT Asuransi Jasa Indonesia (Jasindo) inserted an acqusition over a life insurance company into 2011 work plan as part of the non-organic expansion.Jasindo's President Director Eko Budiwiyono said that the acquisition plan was initially expected to be realized this year to add to the insurance services.According to him, Jasindo has already managed health insurance, sharia insurance, loss insurance, and then seeks to manage life insurance.Yet, mid December 2010, as he said, the company has not found the right target company to be acquired. In fact, Jasindo has come into due dilligence with several life insurance companies this year aloing with internal evaluation process. Eko revealed the criteria for the company to be acquired will not be a big company but having good quality products and services. (NOM)
